As per this initiative, a slot-wise list of all courses offered by departments shall be uploaded on academic.iitm.ac.in after which the students are given a period of up to 8 days to analyse the slots and report any grievances to the Branch Councilor or the Academic Affairs Secretary. These grievances include clashes in the slots of popular.

IIT Madras MTech Admission 2020. Its four-semester M.Tech. Programmes in various Disciplines and Programmes by different departments of the institute are based on the credit system and provide a student with a wide choice of courses. Financial Assistance

List Of Candidates Selected For July-Nov 2019 Admission To M ...

Financial assistance in the form of Half-Time Teaching Assistantship (HTTA) at the rate of Rs.12,400/- p.m. (tenable for a maximum period of 24 months) will be awarded to Indian Nationals doing the M.Tech. Programmes, subject to Institute rules. HTTA students are required to assist the department for 8 hours of work per week related to academic activities of the department such as laboratory demonstration, tutorials, evaluation of assignments, test papers, seminars, research projects, etc.

Minimum Eligibility for IIT Madras MTech Admission 2020

FOR GATE QUALIFIED CANDIDATES

Candidates qualified in GATE 2018, GATE 2019 or GATE 2020 and satisfying any one of the following:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/ Technology/ Architecture from educational Institutions approved by AICTE/ Government
  2. Master’s degree in Chemistry/ Life Sciences/ Mathematics/ Physics related subjects from educational Institutions approved by UGC/ Government
  3. Degrees obtained through Distance Education/ Correspondence Mode for the qualifying degree. The Departments will follow the suitability test/ interview procedure for screening in such cases.
  4. Candidates yet to appear or have appeared in the final examination for the qualifying degree and whose results are likely to be declared by July 15, 2020.

For Eligibility in different programme according to your qualification degree and Gate Paper refer Table 2 and Table 3 in Notification (link given below)

FOR IIT GRADUATES

Candidates graduating/ graduated from IITs with B.Tech. Degree and having CGPA of 7.5 (on a scale of 10) and above for SC/ ST and 8.0 (on a scale of 10) and above for others can apply without GATE Score. These applications will be reviewed by the respective Department(s).

Application fee (per application): Rs.200 /- for SC/ ST/ PWD/Female Candidates and Rs.400/- for others.
