Fort Mojave Indian Tribe and Avi Resort and Casino gave to community joy and free Christmas turkey dinners during 2nd Annual Holiday Food Giveaway on Monday, December 23rd, 2019 in the parking lot between the Needles Courthouse and the San Bernardino County Public Library in Needles, California.

ZachNews Photojournalist Zachary Lopez was there as volunteers got everything ready for the giveaway well a long line of people and vehicles awaited for the free turkey with all the fixing dinners.

The Fort Mojave Indian Tribe and Avi Resort and Casino with support from the City of Needles all worked together to put on the free Christmas turkey dinner boxes giveaway.

On October 20, 2003, the reservation government announced an agreement between the reservation and California Governor Gray Davis to allow the operation of a casino west of Needles, California (directly across the Colorado River from the Tribe's Arizona Reservation Lands).
